Obituary of Mark Michael Miller

Mark Michael Miller, 45, of South Fayette was taken home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ unexpectantly on April 3. Surviving are his parents Mark Mario Miller and Marion "Sis" Horvat Miller, his sister Kimberly Kelly, and brother Charles "Chuck" Miller (Linsey), nieces Rebecca Kelly, Freya Miller, and Aria Miller, nephew Zachary Kelly, great nephew Elijah Kelly, and great niece Gabriella Kelly, his best friend Ken Carmichael, aunts, uncles, many cousins, friends and his dogs Hope and Faith. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Charles Miller and Laura (Battistoni) Miller, Robert Horvat and Marion (Davidson) Horvat, his uncles Charles and Gary Miller, and his aunt Linda (Horvat) Sutherland. He graduated from South Fayette High School in 1997 and from California University of Pennsylvania with a degree in Technology Education in 2001. He was a published author of his first book titled Trials to Triumph: It's not just a story. He was also part of five generations that owned and operated the Oasis Restaurant. His love for Jesus, family and friends always shined through his bright personality. He loved spending time with his dogs, Hope and Faith and enjoyed everything outdoors. There will be no visitation and there will be a celebration of his life on Sunday, April 21, 2024 at the South Fayette Volunteer Firehall, located at 661 Millers Run Road, Cuddy, PA 15031 from 2:30 P.M. to 5:30 P.M. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to C'mon Jesus Ministries, 200 Evandale Drive, Canonsburg, PA 15317.
